17th Indian STEPs & Business Incubators Association (ISBA) Conference Concludes at IIT Guwahati
GUWAHATI, 12th December 2025: The 17th Indian STEPs & Business Incubators Association Conference (ISBACON 2025) successfully concluded at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. Held from 10th to 12th December, the conference marked a historic milestone as the first-ever ISBA event hosted in Northeast India, under the theme “Enabling the Enablers for a Viksit Bharat.”
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Ashok Puranik, Director, AIIMS Guwahati, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Rajesh Thakur, ACS and Administrator, Guwahati Biotech Park, as the Guest of Honour. Prof. Devendra Jalihal, Director, IIT Guwahati, also addressed the gathering.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prasad Menon, President, ISBA, expressed pride in organising the event in the Northeast for the first time, especially as ISBA celebrates 20 years of empowering India’s startup enablers.
A Landmark Gathering for India’s Startup Ecosystem
ISBACON 2025 brought together more than 200 participants and over 300 delegates from academia, industry, policy bodies, and incubation networks—positioning the event as India’s largest annual platform for startup incubation dialogue.
