Hyderabad: On May 26, 2022, PM Modi visited the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad campus. Gracing the 20th anniversary celebrations of ISB, PM Modi, as the chief guest of the event, also addressed the graduating PGP Class of 2022.
ISB Hyderabad celebrated its 20th anniversary along with the graduation ceremony of the PGP Class 2022. The audience welcomed PM Modi with enthusiasm and some warm speeches by the Dean and other ISB faculty.
The ISB Hyderabad event started with PM Modi unveiling a special plaque to commemorate his visit. He then awarded gold medals to the toppers of ISB PGP Class of 2022. The names included students from both ISB Mohali and Hyderabad campuses.
Addressing the audience, PM Modi first congratulated everyone on ISB's 20th anniversary. He then went on to say that institute has achieved a milestone at a very special time as the country too, is celebrating 75 years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
PM Modi even appreciated ISB by mentioning that it was one of the top schools in the country and Asia. Even the professionals passing out of ISB have helped boost the economy of the country through their contributions to various businesses.
Further, motivating the audience and ISB's PGP Class of 2022, PM Modi said that the alumni of ISB has played a very important role the country's growth. Emphasizing on the role of leadership in this growth, PM Modi called for innovative leadership, especially from the youth of this country that could further help in the overall growth and development.
According to an ANI report, PM Modi said, "If we compare last 8 years with the previous 3 decades we'll see that reforms couldn't take place despite their need, due to a lack of political willpower & instability. Country couldn't take big decisions. After 2014, India is witnessing political willpower & reforms."
