New Delhi : Mr. Nidhin Valsan, an IPS officer currently posted as DCP in Delhi Police delivered a motivational lecture in Jamia Senior Secondary School (JSSS), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on the occasion of closing ceremony of Hindi fortnight. Mr Valsan awarded certificates to the winners of poetry recitation competition, poster competition and story writing competition, organized during the fortnight.  

Mr Valsan is a cancer survivor, an Ironman 70.3 finisher and a Limca Book of National Records Holder. He has written a book titled “From Cancer Man to Iron Man” on his fight against cancer.  Mr Valsan motivated students of the school with his power packed lecture. He shared his life experiences and asked students to be patient and courageous in tough situations.

Mr Valsan also planted a sapling under the ongoing #SwachhataHiSeva2024 fortnight & #EkPedMaakeNaam campaign in the school ground. Principal of JSSS, Dr. Mohammad Arshad Khan honored the Chief Guest by giving him a shawl and a memento.
