IPR Awareness Programme under NIPAM to be organized in association with NIT Patna

:- The objective of the programme is to contribute towards building an Atmanirbhar Bharat, and thereby generate IP awareness among one million students across the nation

Patna: Awareness Proof Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) under National Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Mission (NIPAM) will be organized on April 06, 2022. It is being organized by Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks in association with Department of Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna. 

The objective of the programme is to contribute towards building an Atmanirbhar Bharat by Participating in Government of India’s Initiative ‘Azadi ka amrita Mahotsav’ and thereby generate IP awareness among one million students across the nation. 

IP is a multi-faceted tool, which, provides encouragement to inventors, authors, and artists; brings sustainability to the cycle of research and development; grants protection to businesses against unauthorized use of their goodwill; and contributes towards poverty alleviation of craftsmen who are grass-root geographical indication authorized users. IP can be an effective tool in achieving the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The programme will be organized in online mode on April 06, 2022 (Wednesday) from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Eminent speakers include Shri Parijat Saurabh, Dy. Controller of Patents and Designs & NIPAM Team Leader; and Shri Sanjeet Kumar Examiner of Patent & Design, Kolkata.
