IP University Opens Admissions for New Paramedical Courses 2026 Apply Till June 7

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has added seven new healthcare and paramedical streams: Clinical Psychology, Optometry, Emergency Medical Technology, and Applied Epidemiology to their offerings. Applicants can apply online until 7 June, 2026.

GGSIPU Introduces Seven New Healthcare and Psychology Programs for 2026

New Delhi. ; From this academic session (2026), seven new programs at the paramedical and related healthcare fields will be offered at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The University has also extended the application deadline to June 7, 2026, for potential students to be able to submit an application. The programs are expected to address the emerging professional fields of clinical psychology, emergency services, epidemiology, rehabilitation and allied health, and speech and language pathology and optometry. According to the announcement from the University, the online applications for the newly introduced programs have commenced.

The newly introduced programs have been introduced with the the recognition of the increasing professional opportunities in the healthcare field in public health, emergency care, rehabilitation, allied health, and mental health services.

  • Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical and Trauma Technology (B.Sc. EMTT) – Course Code 164
  • Bachelor of Optometry – Course Code 169

Postgraduate Courses

  • Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) / Master in Applied Epidemiology – Course Code 165
  • MA Clinical Psychology – Course Code 166
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP) – Course Code 167
  • M.Sc. Speech Language Pathology (M.Sc. SLP) – Course Code 168
