New Delhi, June 16: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started the admission application process for the 2026-2027 academic sessions under the Orphan and Single Girl Child quotas. As per the notice released by the Public Relations Department, eligible candidates can submit their application forms by June 25, 2026.
On the official admission portal of the university, program-wise details of the seats allocated in the Orphan and the Single Girl Child quota have been published. This has been done with the intention to provide access to higher education for students from the vulnerable and less represented sections of society.
The university has stated that in each of the two quotas, one extra seat has been designated for each of the eligible programs in the various university schools. Interested candidates must complete the application process by the given date to be considered for admission under these categories.
Additional Seats for Eligible Programs
It has been stated by the university that there are designated seats for applicants under both the Orphan and the Single Girl Child quota categories. The reservation has been made in those selected programs where the university has designated an extra seat.
