Mahendergarh - The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, has achieved another notable milestone in the field of research and innovation with the grant of a patent to Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, along with his research scholars Ms. Saloni Bansal and Ms. Kajal Singh.
On this occasion, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of CUH, Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar, congratulated Dr. Amit Kumar and his research team for this significant achievement. The patented innovation, titled “Real-Time Digital Hospitality Display Device for Guest Welcome in Hotels”, focuses on the development of an advanced digital hospitality display system designed to enhance guest experience and improve communication in hotel environments. The device is envisioned as a smart digital screen installed in hotel lobbies, near reception areas, or inside guest rooms to deliver dynamic and real-time content.
The system enables personalized welcome message for guests and provide real-time updates related to check-in and check-out information. It also offers details of hotel services and amenities , such as dining option spa services , breakfast timings , event schedule will finding assistance such as dining options, spa services, breakfast timings, event schedules wayfinding assistance, local weather and news updates and promotional contents. Interactive features including touch-based in navigation and digital concierge services further enhance your user engagement.
