MDU Announces Four Week Faculty Induction Programme

Maharshi Dayanand University has announced a four week faculty Induction Programme under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme. This programme will be conducted in hybrid mode from February 5 to March 7, 2026. It is aimed at newly appointed faculty members across higher education institutions.

Rohtak - The faculty Induction Programme will be organised by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTU) is open to faculty from Central, State, Deemed an Private Universities, Institutions of National Importance and Colleges. The programme is mandatory for newly appointed teachers and is recognised under UGC/MMTTP guidelines. 

The induction programme will focus on curriculum design, learner-centred pedogogy, Assessment and evaluation, ICT-enabled teaching, research methodology, inclusive education, Indian knowledge systems and institutional governance in line  with the objectives of NEP 2020. 

Participants will be evaluated through attendance, assignments, micro-teaching and final presentation. On successful completion, candidates will be awarded a certificate valid for UG Career Advancement Scheme (CAS), promotions and recruitment. Interested faculty members are required to apply online through the UGC MMTTC PORTAL and obtain NOC from their host instituions within the prescribed timeline.
