Around 25 students have received international job offers from different countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom, and United States.

“The Office of Career Services at IIT Delhi is working to maximize placement of the students who avail our services. We have a healthy mix and line up of companies across sectors to cater to the varied needs and aspirations of our student body,” says Prof. R. Ayothiraman, Professor Incharge, Office of Career Services.

In 2022, at the end of first day of placements, 650 full time job offers were made, out which around 550 were unique job selections including over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs). Last year, 20 students had received international job offers from Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. Some students had accepted domestic offers over international offers.

Meanwhile, IIT Guwahati received 164 offers from 59 companies on the first day of its placement session. The big recruiters of this year’s first two sessions include Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, HPCL, Navi, Piramal, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments among others.

Also, IIT Kharagpur has bagged more than 700 placement offers including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) on the very first day of the placement session in 2023. More than 121 profiles have been opened for the students who have received more than 19 international offers with 6 students being offered more than Rs 1 crore CTC on the first day
