Varanasi: A research scholar from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT BHU Varanasi will deliver his PhD pre-submission seminar on March 25, 2026.
Mr. Satyabrat Pandey will present his research titled “Damage Assessment for Quasi-brittle Media using A Robust and Efficient Localized Gradient Damage Model” at the New Seminar Room of the department.
The seminar is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM and will be attended by members of the RPEC (Research Progress Evaluation Committee), DPGC (Departmental Postgraduate Committee), faculty members, and research scholars.
The research focuses on advanced modelling techniques for evaluating damage in quasi-brittle materials, which has significant applications in structural engineering, material science, and infrastructure safety.
The institute has invited faculty members and scholars interested in the field to attend the seminar and engage in academic discussion.
