Punjab: Students interested in a career in research in chemistry beyond the post graduate level can apply to the PhD Admission 2027 program in Chemistry at IIT Ropar. GATE, UGC-NET or National Fellowship Required
Candidates who qualify according to the prescribed postgraduate academic criteria are required to possess at least one of the following qualifications:
- A valid GATE qualification.
- A valid UGC-NET, CSIR-NET or equivalent qualification.
- A valid DST-INSPIRE or equivalent National Fellowship.
Candidates who have obtained an MTech or equivalent degree with at least 6.5 grade points or 60% marks are exempt from the GATE qualification as indicated in the admission flyer.
