Other areas of interest include modelling and simulation of climate and disasters, AI and ML in Chemical and Materials Sciences, Quantum information processing, trustworthy AI and robotics, Computer Vision, advanced materials, CPS, and cyber manufacturing.

Reservation and Application Rules

The Ministry of Education and Government of India rules guide reservation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates. Candidates should upload the certificates in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority to avail reservation benefits.

Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria is insufficient for an interview. IIT Mandi reserves the right to increase the standards of shortlisting for individual Schools and Centres as per requirements.
