IIT Jodhpur Introduces BS in Management & Technology Without JEE Requirement

The new  BS in Management and Technology at IIT Jodhpur is a 4-year program and provides the opportunity for students to engage in an IIT program without having to take the JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The program is being offered in a Blended Learning format and provides an opportunity for students to learn about emerging areas of management and technology. The learning is further enhanced through the use of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation and prepares students for the roles that will be required in the Industry.

Unlike most undergraduate engineering programs offered at IITs, admissions to this program will use an independent entrance qualifier and a counseling process for admissions, rather than the Joint Entrance Examination.

 

What’s even more exciting is that there is NO JEE required!

To gain admission to this program, applicants must;

  • Fill out an application
  • Pay the application and entrance test fee
  • Take the qualifier test
  • Attend counselling if they are shortlisted
  • Accept the offer of admission if selected

This provides students who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity an alternative method in which to study at an IIT.

 

Who is eligible?

As stated by IIT Jodhpur, candidates must:

  • Have completed Class 12 (or an equivalent examination) from any recognized board.
  • Have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (50% marks for reserved category candidates).
  • There is no upper age limit.

The program is also designed for working professionals and students enrolled in open/part-time degree programs.
