The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu has opened online applications for a research position today. IIT Jammu is looking for a Project Associate-I for the Phase-III of the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project. Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur, Director and Principal Investigator, ISEA, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Jammu, is the head of this large-scale national-level project. Qualifications & Technical Requirements For The Post
Applicants interested in this research job opportunity need to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Education: The candidate should have completed B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or any other relevant stream from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience: The candidates must have at least 1-year work experience in Android, Linux, and Windows OS.
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge in cyber security, penetration testing, and system administration would be advantageous.
- Age Limit: The maximum age for applying to this post is 35 years (relaxable for reserved categories).
Salary Package & Appointment Terms
The successful candidate will get a total salary package of Rs 42,000 per month. IIT Jammu will initially appoint the selected applicant for one year. However, based on performance, the contract can be renewed for an extended period. It is important to note that this is a temporary and contractual job position.
