Why This Opportunity Matters
This fellowship is unlike most common research appointments, as the selected candidate will work at the nexus of climate science and research and the disciplines of AI, sustainability, and public policy. Rather, the project focuses research at the intersection of the climate industry and public health, and energy systems and climate-related research stressors. Given the significant research gaps in the intersectional public health and climate stressors on research and the relevance to social impact, it is an excellent research opportunity for those wanting to pursue a career in climate research, environmental engineering, or computational sustainability. The research has the potential to carry significant social impacts and will be housed in one of India’s leading technology institutes.
