New Delhi. : IIT Delhi has unveiled a six-month certificate program in Generative AI, designed to equip professionals with advanced skills in artificial intelligence. Offered as part of its Continuing Education Programme (CEP), this course focuses on cutting-edge AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, and T5.
The curriculum covers a range of emerging AI topics, such as Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), and ethical AI practices. Participants will also dive into six specialized modules, including:
- Mathematical Foundations for Machine Learning (ML)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Generative AI for Text and Vision
- Responsible AI
The program provides hands-on experience with popular AI tools, including Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, as well as NLTK and spaCy for NLP applications.
Tailored for working professionals, the course offers live online interactive sessions in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format. It includes industry-relevant case studies, projects, and assignments, ensuring a practical understanding of generative AI. Additionally, participants will benefit from a one-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi for in-person interactions and deeper learning.
Applications for the program are open until February 11, with classes beginning on February 15. The total course fee is Rs 1.69 lakh plus taxes, with an application fee of Rs 1,180.
