IIT Bhubaneswar PhD Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying under the C2S programme must meet one of the prescribed educational qualification routes.
Candidates with an M.Tech./M.E. or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or an appropriate discipline must have secured at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale. A minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA is also required in B.Tech. or an equivalent qualification.
Alternatively, candidates with a B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or an appropriate discipline must have at least 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA and must have qualified GATE/CSIR/UGC NET in EC or an appropriate discipline.
A single relaxation of up to 5% marks in marks or CGPA is permitted in one of the preceding examinations.
Visvesvaraya Fellowship: Stipend and Other Benefits
The Visvesvaraya Fellowship provides financial support to selected PhD scholars. According to the admission notice, the fellowship includes:
