IIM Kozhikode Invites Distinguished Visiting Scholars for 2026–27 Academic Year

Kozhikode, : To strengthen international academic collaboration and promote high-quality research, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced a call for applications for its Distinguished Visiting Scholars (DVS) Programme for the academic year 2026–27.

The initiative aims to attract renowned international scholars from premier institutions worldwide who have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching in management or allied disciplines. The visiting scholars will have the opportunity to collaborate with IIMK faculty, engage with students, and contribute to the institute’s vibrant academic ecosystem.

IIM Kozhikode’s academic activities are organized across eight key areas:

1. Economics

2. Finance, Accounting & Control

3. Humanities and Liberal Arts in Management

4. Information Technology & Systems

5. Marketing Management

6. Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources

7. Quantitative Methods & Operations Management

8. Strategic Management

Eligibility Criteria

• Scholars from reputed international institutions with a strong track record in research and teaching.

• Demonstrated excellence in scholarly publications and/or postgraduate and executive-level teaching.

• Proposed visits that can significantly contribute to IIMK’s academic engagements, publications, and future collaborations.

• Scholars previously part of the DVS programme can reapply only after five academic years.

Fellowship Package

• Duration: 2 to 3 months during the academic year 2026–27.

• Includes daily subsistence allowance, return economy airfare, campus accommodation (subject to availability), and access to IIMK’s library, IT systems, and office space.

• Opportunity to participate in teaching, research, and collaborative academic projects with IIMK faculty.

Expected Outcomes

• Academic engagements with faculty and students through teaching or research collaborations.

• Acknowledgment of IIM Kozhikode’s support in resulting academic publications or outputs.

• A cover letter highlighting potential contributions to IIM Kozhikode.

• An abstract of the proposed research mentioning collaborating IIMK faculty.

• The applicant’s Curriculum Vitae.

• A recommendation letter from the IIM Kozhikode faculty member associated with the proposed research.
