Hyderabad: The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad) is set to organize the 25th edition of its R&D Showcase 2026 on March 14 and 15, 2026, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, startups, and students to explore emerging technologies and innovations.

The two-day event will highlight the institute’s latest research initiatives under the theme “Trust in Technology – Security, Privacy, Transparency.”

The showcase will begin with an inaugural session on March 14, featuring welcome remarks by Prof. Sandeep K. Shukla, Director, IIIT Hyderabad, followed by keynote discussions and centre spotlights on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and algorithmic research.

The event will also include demonstrations and research poster presentations showcasing the institute’s cutting-edge projects.

Industry-focused sessions will be held under the “Confluence” dialogue series, covering topics such as Cyber Security and Privacy in AI and AI for Theory and Theory for AI. A startup showcase and an industry roundtable on Agentic AI are also scheduled.

On March 15, the programme will continue with events including Excitement of Research (ExoR), research showcases, faculty roundtables, and discussions on the future of research funding and innovation ecosystems.

Officials stated that the event aims to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and startups while promoting research-driven technological advancements.
