Indira Gandhi National Open University students recently received excellent news regarding new job opportunities. Between July 29 and July 31, 2026 two consecutive university campus placement drives will take place in Bangalore and Ahmedabad. The placement drives are expected to draw over 200 companies in the services and proptech industries to offer over 200 job openings.
Drive 2026: Dates and Location Information
The first city on the route is Bangalore. The Bangalore location will be at the IGNOU Regional Centre, Bangalore Number 222, located on Singena Agrahara Village Road, for two days, July 29 and 30, from 10:00 AM. The very next day, the placement activity will be in Ahmedabad for July 30 and 31, also starting at 10:00 AM.

Bajaj Finserv, TTEC, and Samsung will fill more than 160 vacancies across customer service, chat support, and sales. For customer executive roles, Bajaj Finserv has more than 30 vacancies. TTEC, a global BPO, will fill more than 100 vacancies for chat support executive roles, with no experience as a requirement. An HSC pass, diploma, or degree is sufficient.

It would be wise to check and recheck the documents the night before the drive to ensure nothing is forgotten.
Due to the very short time allotted for the placement drives in both cities, placement applicants must check the exact time and address for the placement drive in the official Regional Centre notification of IGNOU, just before leaving for the drive. This is mandatory as the timing and address may be altered at the last minute, which is very normal for placement drives organized on such a large scale.
