New Delhi, August 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) AIEEA PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 examinations for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examinations can now check and download their scorecards through the official NTA portal.

The examinations were conducted on July 4, 2026, for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes under ICAR. The entrance tests were held across 162 examination centres in 115 cities across the country.

A total of 42,110 candidates registered for the examinations, comprising 30,619 candidates for ICAR-AIEEA (PG) and 11,491 candidates for ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD). Of these, 38,720 candidates appeared for the examinations.

According to NTA, the registration and attendance figures were:

  • ICAR-AIEEA (PG): 30,619 registered; 28,303 appeared
  • ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD): 11,491 registered; 10,417 appeared
  • Total: 42,110 registered; 38,720 appeared

Among the registered candidates, 21,533 were female and 20,577 were male.

For the examination that was actually conducted, 19,759 female candidates and 18,961 male candidates appeared.

NTA also stated that 430 PwD/PwBD candidates had registered for the examination.

ICAR Entrance Results 2026: Answer Key Process

Following the examination, NTA hosted the question papers, provisional answer keys and recorded responses of candidates on its website from August 16 to August 18, 2026.

Candidates were given an opportunity to raise challenges against the provisional answer keys. The challenges received were examined by subject experts, following which the results were processed using the verified and finalised answer keys.

Candidates can check their results and download their scorecards by following these steps:

  • Visit the official ICAR examination portal of NTA.
  • Open the link for ICAR AIEEA PG / AICE-JRF/SRF 2026 results.
  • Enter the required login credentials.
  • Submit the details.
  • View the result and scorecard displayed on the screen.
  • Download and save the scorecard.
  • Take a printout for future admission requirements.


ICAR Results 2026: Admission Process After Scorecard

NTA has clarified that its role is limited to inviting applications, conducting the entrance examination, declaring the results and providing the results to ICAR for further action.

Candidates who qualify will have to undergo the subsequent admission process as prescribed by ICAR and the concerned institution.

The eligibility criteria, self-declarations and required documents of eligible candidates will be verified at the subsequent stages of admission. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully check the ICAR e-Prospectus and Admission Policy/Procedure before proceeding with admissions.
