Srinagar: The Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) has issued an official order regarding the reconstitution of the University Housing Allotment Committee for teachers and officers.
According to the office order dated March 16, 2026, the committee has been reformed with updated members following partial amendments to a previous order issued in August 2025.
The newly constituted committee includes senior faculty members and administrative officials from various departments of the university. The committee will be responsible for overseeing and managing the allocation of university residential accommodations to eligible teaching and non-teaching staff.
The order specifies roles such as Chairperson, Members, and Member Secretary, ensuring representation from academic departments, administration, finance, and engineering services.
University authorities stated that the reconstitution aims to ensure transparent and efficient allocation of residential facilities within the campus.
The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority and circulated among concerned officials for implementation.
