NEP Orientation and Sensitization Programme Inaugurated at Central University of Haryana

Experts and Educators Gather to Discuss Implementation Strategies of the National Education Policy 2020

HARYANA: UGC-MMTTC, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is organising 25 th “NEP Orientation and Sensitization Programme” and this programme inaugurated by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CUH. The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the importance of this programme for Faculty of Higher Education Institutions for effective implementation of NEP 2020 and try to understand the soul of this policy for ‘Viksit Bharat- 2047’. He has also focused on incorporation of IKS, skill development, internship, multidisciplinary, multiple entry & exit in the curriculum of higher education programmes and language should be barrier in teaching, learning and researches.

In the beginning of this programme, Prof. Parmod Kumar, Director, UGC-MMTTC, CUH presented the welcome address and Prof. Tanu Gupta, Deputy Director, UGC-MMTTC, CUH introduced of the Chief Guest of this programme. In this programme 112 candidates have been registered from 12 States 37 institutes including 70 Assistant professors, 02 Associate Professors, 03 Professors and 37 Research scholars. Dr. Joginder, Programme Coordinator, Department of Statistics, CUH has introduced the First Recourse Person- Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, Dean Academics, CUH. Prof. Sanjiv Kumar discussed the Curricular reforms in alignment with NCrF & NHEQF with the participants. In the second session, Dr. Naresh Kumar,

Institute of Management Studies and Research (IMSAR), Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak gave the talk on ‘Role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Social Progress’. At the end of the first day, Dr. Ravinder, Programme Coordinator gave the formal vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, Resource persons and participants of the programme.
