Chandigarh: The Haryana School Education Department has announced the schedule for the 2026 teacher transfer process for teachers to be deployed in Government Model Sanskriti Schools, PM SHRI Schools and Chief Minister Equal Education (CMEEE) Schools. The department issued the notice on September 8, 2026, under the Teacher Transfer Policy, 2026 and the Deployment Policy, 2026. The process will begin with the publication of vacancies on September 10 and conclude with the second round of guest teacher allotment on September 23, 2026.
Vacancy Details to Be Published From September 10
According to the schedule, the department will carry out the configuration and publication of actual, deemed and notional vacancies from September 10 to September 11. Teachers eligible to participate in the transfer process will then be able to take part in the voluntary participation stage on September 12 and September 13. The department will conduct the normalisation and vacancy calculation process on September 14, following which the relevant vacancy information will be published for the next stages of the transfer drive.
Regular Station Choice Process Starts September 15
The first round of station choice filling for regular teachers will be held from September 15 to September 17. The department will announce the Allocation Round 1 for regular teachers on September 18 and September 19. This stage will allow eligible teachers participating in the regular transfer process to submit their preferences according to the procedure laid down under the applicable Haryana teacher transfer and deployment policies.
Guest Teacher Round to Follow
After the completion of the regular teacher allocation round, the department will begin the process for guest teachers. The Station Choice Filling Round 2 for guest teachers is scheduled for September 20 and September 21, while the second allocation round for guest teachers will take place on September 22 and September 23.
