Haryana: Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2: The Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has released the provisional round 2 seat allotment result for counselling of NEET UG 2026. Over 1,166 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted to government, government-aided, and private medical and dental colleges in Haryana. Seats for an additional 943 MBBS and 223 BDS seats have been allotted.

The allotment has been prepared considering the candidates' performance in NEET UG 2026, the preferences filled by candidates during the counselling process, respective reserved categories, and the applicable seat matrix. • Did not get an allotted seat in round 1.
• Were allotted a seat in round 1, but remained unjoined.
• Joined a seat in round 1, but wanted to secure a seat of higher preference via round 2.
• Candidates had to complete the registration, fill in preferences, and pay the security fee between September 10 and September 12, 2026.

The allotment is for MBBS and BDS admissions to government, government-aided, and private colleges participating in Haryana's NEET state counselling, and eligible private universities.

• The fee payment is a guarantee to book a spot, and from September 17 to 19, candidates who have paid the required fee have to present themselves for document verification. The official schedule is from 9 AM to 4 PM.
• From September 17 to 20, candidates who have paid the required fee and have successfully verified their documents can download their provisional admission letters.
• From September 20 to 4 PM, all candidates must join the allotted institutions.

The Grievance Window Matters Too

The Round 2 result is provisional. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to verify the final result carefully. The report says that candidates can submit a grievance on the Haryana admission portal, under the " Grievance " tab, in case of any discrepancy found. The final allocation through the provisional seat matrix is subject to a grievance window. The last date for submission of a grievance through the provisional seat matrix is 14th September 2026, up to 12:30 PM.

The counselling authority has also said that candidates are advised to check the Haryana Counselling website and the websites of the health authorities and constantly update the portal for any changes or notifications regarding the schedule.
