Kolkata - St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, has officially announced the programme schedule and important guidelines for uit's 19th Convocation and Valedictory ceremony 2026.
The Convocation will take place on Friday 16, 2026 starting at 11:00 AM, with sthdents required to report by 9:00 AM for administrative formalities and grown collection.
According tk the notification, only gold medals will be awarded on the Convocation day. All other awards, prizes and certificates will be distributed on January 19, 2026, during a seperate ceremony to be held at the Fr. Depelchin Auditorium from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The college has clarified that only degree recepients are allowed to attend the Convocation ceremony. Collection og angavastra and stoles will be permitted between 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM, after which no gowns will be issued. The academic procession will begin at 10:55 AM, followed by the Convocation ceremony 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Finam degree certificate will be distrubuted after programme between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Students must carry their original consolidated mark sheet, registration-cum-invitation card and college identity card.
