Goa University Opens Registrations for GU ART 2026–27 Admissions

Online registrations open from 4–18 February; entrance test in March.

Goa: Goa University has announced the admission schedule for postgraduate programmes and B.Ed. courses for the academic year 2026–27 through the Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART).The university will conduct a structured entrance process for eligible candidates seeking admission to programmes offered at the university campus and affiliated colleges.

The online registration process began on 4 February 2026 and will close on 18 February 2026. The Change of Discipline Test (CDT) is scheduled for 25 and 26 February 2026, while GU-ART Round I will be conducted on 7, 8, 14, 15 and 22 March 2026.

For most programmes, the entrance test will comprise 50 multiple-choice questions (100 marks) with a negative marking of 0.5 marks per incorrect answer. Final-year undergraduate students may apply, subject to meeting eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

However, admissions to certain courses, including MBA programmes under the Goa Business School, Integrated M.Sc. Data Science, and M.Sc. Marine Biotechnology, will not be based on GU-ART.
