Goa: Goa University has started the admission process for its Integrated Programmes for the academic session 2026–27. The university has released an initial application form to collect basic details from candidates, particularly those applying from outside the state of Goa.
According to the university, candidates who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (10+2) are eligible to apply for these integrated courses. These programmes combine undergraduate and postgraduate studies into a single academic track.
The university has clarified that this initial form is only the first step in the admission process. After verification, selected candidates will be required to complete their application through the Samarth Portal, where the application fee will also be collected.
Goa University is offering a range of integrated programmes across different disciplines. Students can apply for multiple courses, including Sanskrit Studies and Philosophy, Earth System Sciences with a minor in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Chemical Sciences, Physics with AI, Media and Cultural Studies, Public Policy and Governance, Financial Services, Social Sciences with AI, and Life Sciences with specialisations such as Wildlife Biology and Computational Biology.
The university stated that HSSC marks will serve as the primary eligibility and merit criteria for admission. Students are advised to ensure that all details are filled in correctly in the application form to avoid issues during the selection process.
For candidates from Maharashtra and other states, the university has made it mandatory to obtain an Eligibility Certificate or Provisional Statement of Eligibility. This document confirms that the candidate’s previous qualifications meet Goa University standards. Applicants will need to submit original marksheets, along with migration and transfer certificates, through the Samarth Portal.
The university has advised interested candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding admission confirmation, deadlines, and further procedures.
