GLS University Partners with SAE Institute to Launch India’s First Global B.Design (Hons.) Programme in Animation, VFX & Game Development
Ahmedabad: GLS University has announced India’s first Global B.Design (Hons.) programme in Animation & VFX and Game Development through a landmark collaboration with Australia’s SAE Institute, a world leader in creative media education. This four-year undergraduate programme marks SAE’s official entry into India and positions GLS University as the only institution in the country authorised to offer SAE’s internationally recognised curriculum and certification.
Established in 1927, GLS University is among Gujarat’s most respected educational institutions. The partnership integrates GLS’s academic strengths with SAE’s 50-year legacy of project-based, industry-focused learning across 47 campuses in 20 countries.
The programme was formally launched in the presence of Sudhir Nanavati, President, GLS University; Dr. Chandni Kapadia, Executive Director; and senior representatives from Navitas, including Jenna Schiller and Steve Hird.
Designed to create industry-ready graduates, the Global B.Design (Hons.) programme emphasises hands-on learning through advanced studios, real-world projects, and global immersion opportunities. Students will receive an internationally recognised SAE qualification awarded as a B.Design (Hons.) by GLS University.
GLS University's network of over 1,000 industry partners will offer students access to internships, live projects, and placements in top animation, VFX, and gaming companies. The collaboration sets a new benchmark for creative media and technology education in India.
