Hisar: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar has announced the fourth round of institute-level physical counselling for admission against vacant and leftover seats in its B.Tech first-year and B.Tech LEET programmes for the academic session 2026-27. The university has invited eligible candidates to apply online for the counselling process from September 3, 2026. The last date for new registration is September 13, 2026, at 11.59 pm.
Fresh Chance for Students Seeking B.Tech Admission
The fourth counselling round has been announced for candidates seeking admission against seats that remain vacant after the earlier rounds of counselling. Importantly, candidates who had already applied for the first, second or third institute-level physical counselling rounds do not need to submit a fresh application. They will also be considered for the fourth round, according to the university's counselling notice. The counselling covers B.Tech first-year engineering programmes as well as B.Tech LEET admissions, which are meant for eligible candidates seeking entry into the second year through the lateral-entry route.
Registration Open Till September 13
Candidates applying for the fourth counselling round must complete the online application through the university website and pay a counselling fee of ₹1,000. The university has asked candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding the detailed counselling schedule and the latest vacancy position. Since the counselling is being held against vacant and leftover seats, the number of available seats may vary depending on admissions confirmed before the physical counselling process.
Physical Counselling to Be Held at GJUST Campus
The counselling will be conducted physically at the GJUS&T campus in Hisar. Candidates who are allotted seats and offered admission will be required to follow the university's instructions regarding document verification and fee payment. The university has specified that candidates must be prepared to deposit the required semester fee on the spot through online payment methods, including credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking. Students should therefore carry the necessary documents and ensure that they have access to an appropriate online payment method before attending the counselling.
