Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management (GIDM), has invited applications for its Doctoral Fellowship Programme. It is aimed at supporting high-quality, policy-oriented doctoral research.
The fellowship is open to full-time PhD scholars enrolled in recognised universities and institutions. GIDM is seeking research proposals aligned with priority areas such as disaster risk reduction, climate change, environmental studies, and resilience-building.
The programme is designed to strengthen evidence-based decision-making and generate research that contributes to disaster preparedness, risk mitigation, climate adaptation, and sustainable development at both the state and national levels.
