National Conference at GGV to Empower Youth and Women Through Skill Development

Bilaspur: Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), a premier central university in Chhattisgarh, has announced a two-day National Conference focused on integrating skill development and entrepreneurship into higher education. The conference, titled "Youth and Women Entrepreneurship and Skill Development: Unveiling Opportunities for Developed India," aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Key Highlights of the Event

• Dates: March 9-10, 2026.

• Collaborators: Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN) and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII).

• Visionary Leadership: The initiative is led by Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Vice-Chancellor of GGV, who has established a robust system for entrepreneurial growth at the university.

• Holistic Approach: This conference is the culmination of a series of events, including an Entrepreneurship Development Programme and Skill Development Workshops that will provide hands-on training in 17 different skills.

Call for Research Papers

The conference invites academicians, researchers, and students to present papers on themes such as Rural Technology, Sustainable Development, and Policy Frameworks for Entrepreneurship.

• Submission Deadline: Research abstracts (max 300 words) must be submitted by February 20, 2026.

• Acceptance Notification: February 25, 2026.

• Publication Opportunity: Selected papers will be published in a book with an ISBN, and outstanding presentations will receive Best Paper Awards.
