GATE 2024 Result: The GATE cut-off marks last year for various programmes under several categories have increased or have remained the same. The GATE cut-off last year for the biochemistry research in branches including for BT, EY and XL remained the same as that of the previous year. In computer science and engineering as well, it remained the same – 675 in 2022 and 2023. 

The GATE cut-offs depend on multiple factors. The number of total candidates appearing for GATE, availability of seats at the participating institutions, previous year’s trends and the difficulty level of the exam play an important role in deciding the cut-off.
