NTA Opens Correction Window for GAT-B & BET 2026 Application Forms
New Delhi.: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the opening of the correction window for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2026. Candidates who have already registered for these exams can now modify specific particulars in their online application forms to ensure all details are accurate before the examination on May 17, 2026.
Important Dates and Deadlines
The correction facility is a one-time opportunity and is available for a very limited duration:
- Correction Window Opens: 11 April 2026
- Deadline for Corrections: 13 April 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
What Can You Edit?
According to the NTA guidelines, candidates are allowed to modify certain fields, while others remain frozen:
- Fields NOT Changeable: Mobile number, Email address, and Photograph.
- Limited Changes: Candidates can change only one of the following: Candidate Name, Father’s Name, or Mother’s Name.
- Fields Open for Change: Date of Birth, Gender, Category, PwBD status, Signature, Exam applied for, and Educational details (Class 10, Graduation, and Post-Graduation).
Key Instructions
- Fee Impact: If changes to your category or PwBD status result in a higher application fee, you must pay the additional amount via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI for the corrections to be saved.
- Finality: Once the "Submit" button is clicked after corrections, the form will be frozen. No further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.
- Verification: Candidates are urged to visit https://exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet/ immediately to verify their data.
