Faculty Development Program concluded at CUH

This program, titled "Microgrid with Electrical Vehicles: Intelligent and Allied Areas," has been in session from October 23 to 28, 2023

 

Mahendragarh. : On the sixth and final day of the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy FacultyDevelopment Program (FDP), hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the CentralUniversity of Haryana, Mahendragarh, the participants concluded their journey through a weekof enriching experiences and knowledge-sharing. This program, titled "Microgrid with ElectricalVehicles: Intelligent and Allied Areas," has been in session from October 23 to 28, 2023.

The day commenced with the highly anticipated Technical Session-10, featuring a keynotespeaker and guest of honor, Prof. SN Singh. Prof. Singh, a distinguished Professor at IITKanpur and Director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Indian Institute of Information Technology andManagement (ABV-IIITM) in Gwalior, India, presented on the "Estimation of Grid Harmonics inthe Presence of Renewable Energy Sources." His expertise shed light on a critical aspect ofelectrical engineering, offering insights into the challenges and solutions related to gridharmonics in the context of renewable energy sources.Following this enlightening session, participants engaged in reflective journaling, an opportunityfor them to capture their thoughts, learnings, and takeaways from the entire FDP experience.In the afternoon, the program provided an opportunity for participants to consolidate theirknowledge with a session dedicated to multiple-choice questions (MCQs), feedback collection,and interactions. This segment allowed for the assessment of participants' understanding andoffered a platform for questions and feedback.
