Mahendergarh : The Department of Nutrition Biology at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized the second event of International Year of Millets-2023 celebration under the guidance and mentorship of Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar.  In the series of events an invited talk of DrUshaRavindra, Professor, Food Science and Nutrition, University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore was conducted. The event started with University Kulgeet and Lamp lighting. Ms. Isha, student of Dept. of Nutrition Biology gave an introduction about the celebration of International Year of Millet. Ms. Toshi another student of the department introduced speaker to the gathering. During the talk, Prof. Usha emphasized the importance of millet in human health. Her talk was focused Potential of millets as nutraceuticals and functional food. The talk was followed by question and answer session. In the last Ms. Mahima Sharma, student of the department proposed vote of thanks. The event was concluded with singing of National Anthem. During the event all students of the department along faculty members were present.
