Dr. Mona Sharma Unveils her Textbook on Environmental Impact Assessment

Mahendergarh, Haryana : Dr. Mona Sharma, Head, Department of Environmental Studies, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is set to unveil her much-anticipated text book entitled "Environmental Impact Assessment - A Journey to Sustainable Development" published by Springer. This book has been released by Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar mentioned in his foreword of the book that this book is a complete guide for learning how environmental impact assessments (EIA) work and how important they are for achieving sustainable development. This book is a great resource for students, professionals, and anyone else interested in environmental management because it goes into great depth about different case studies, regulatory landscapes, and how EIA is used in policymaking.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar congratulated the authors on the publication of their first Springer text book on “Environmental Impact Assessment” and said this is a remarkable achievement, and I’m thrilled to see their hard work and talent come to fruition. Dr. Mona Sharma, one of the authors highlighted the book goes into detail about the methods and frameworks of EIAs and shows how they can help make sure that growth projects leave as little of an impact on the environment as possible.
