New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) has announced an on-the-spot mop-up admission round to fill nearly 7,000 vacant undergraduate seats. Unlike earlier rounds, this process will be based on Class 12 marks instead of CUET scores and will be conducted in physical mode.
Registration Window:
- Starts: September 17, 5 PM
- Ends: September 19, 11:59 PM
- Mode: Online at admission.uod.ac.in
Who Can Apply:
- Candidates already registered on the CSAS (UG) 2025 portal but not admitted anywhere.
- Fresh applicants (must pay a one-time non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 in addition to the registration fee).
- Students already admitted to any DU programme are not eligible.
Documents Required:
Applicants must bring original and self-attested copies of:
- Invitation letter
- CSAS (UG) application form
- Class 12 marksheet & certificate
- Class 10 marksheet/birth certificate
- Valid government ID (Aadhaar/Passport)
- Reservation/category certificates (if applicable)
Discrepancies in marks or missing documents will result in cancellation. DU has also clarified that admissions will not be given on undertakings for delayed submissions.
Seat Allocation & Admission:
- Allocation begins September 23.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive email invitations with reporting details.
- Admission is strictly in-person; no representatives allowed.
- Seats must be accepted with immediate online fee payment, failing which the seat will be cancelled.
- Allotments will be final with no withdrawals or upgrades permitted.
Special Notes:
- Mop-up round does not apply to supernumerary quotas except PwBD.
- Candidates should ensure adequate bank balance for on-the-spot payments.
- Students are advised to check emails regularly for updates.
