New Delhi: Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) has written on July 13, 2022 to all the Principal's, HoD's and Dean of Colleges, DU to ensure rejoining of all the ad-hoc teachers who had been teaching in the colleges /department till the last day of academic session 2021-22.

DUTA Secretary, Dr Surender Singh, demanded that summer salary/ex-gratia payment as per Ordinance XII should also be paid to them at the earliest.

DUTA President, Prof Bhagi informed that Delhi University has issued a letter dated July 18, 2022 to all the Principals/Directors of Colleges/Institution to follow the Ordinance of DU and allow rejoining of all the ad-hocs. This letter (No. CB.II/Status-Aapptt(TS)/Ad hoc/2022/295) issued by the Assistant Registrar (Colleges). This letter is in the line of record of discussion of December 5, 2019.

DUTA appeals to all the Principals/HoDs to follow in letter and spirit the letter issued by Delhi University regarding rejoining of ad-hoc colleagues.
