New Delhi. : The University of Delhi (DU), through the Office of the Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW), has announced the Financial Support Scheme (FSS) 2026-27 for eligible full-time bonafide undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scheme provides financial assistance to students based on their annual family income, with eligible applicants able to receive a partial or full fee waiver subject to the prescribed limits.
The last date to submit the online application is October 13, 2026.
The scheme is part of the University of Delhi's continuing efforts to ease the financial burden on students pursuing higher education.
Who Can Apply for DU Financial Support Scheme 2026-27?
A full-time bonafide student studying in any UG or PG programme in a Department, Institution or Centre of the University of Delhi can apply, provided the student falls within one of the prescribed family income categories.
However, certain categories of students and programmes are specifically excluded from the scheme.

2. Income Tax Returns and PAN Cards

Self-attested copies of PAN cards of the above family members are also required.
3. Undertaking Form

A copy of the Bonafide Certificate, duly signed by the Head/Director of the Centre or Institute, in the prescribed format.
5. Marksheet
A self-attested copy of the marksheet of the last examination.
6. Latest Fee Receipt
A self-attested copy of the latest fee receipt.
7. Bank Account Details
A self-attested copy of the student's bank passbook showing:

A cancelled cheque may also be submitted. The scheme states that bank account details belonging to anyone other than the student will not be accepted.
