This year, the results of the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations (Plus Two) were declared by the Kerala Minister for General Education V Sivankutty on May 9 at 3 pm at Thiruvananthapuram.
The pass percentage is 84.84 per cent in science category of plus two exams, which was 87.31 in 2023. The pass percentage in Commerce is 76.11 per cent, which was 82.75 last year, and the pass percentage in Humanities is 67.09 per cent which has dipped from 71.93 per cent of 2023. A total of 105 students scored 1200 out of 1200 marks.
Since the pass percentage has seen a dip of over 4 per cent this year, the state Education Minister V. Shivankutty has announced an inquiry into the poor performance of government schools in this year’s Plus Two exams. The report should be submitted within two weeks, he announced.
