Christ University to Host Talk on E Waste Management for Sustainable Future

Christ University's Department of Statistics and Data Science will conduct an awareness talk on the importance of e-waste management highlighting sustainable solutions and industry perspectives.

Banglore - The Department of Statistics and Data Science at Christ University (Deemed to be University) is set to organise an academic talk titled “The Importance of E-Waste Management for a Sustainable Future” on 3 February 2026. The session aims to create awareness about the growing challenges of electronic waste and the need for sustainable disposal and recycling practices.

The talk will be conducted by Balaji D.C., Founder of Disposify Inc, who brings industry expertise in e-waste management and sustainability solutions. Through the session participants will gain insights into responsible e-waste handling, environmental impact and emerging opportunities in the green technology sector.

The event will be held from 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM at Room 530, 5th Floor, R&D Block, Christ University Campus. Students, researchers and faculty members are encouraged to participate and engage in discussions on sustainable development and environmental responsibility.

The programme aligns with the university’s commitment to promoting sustainability awareness and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through academic and industry collaboration.
