New Delhi.: The Department of Management Studies (DMS), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), proudly organised its annual alumni meet, RUBAROO 2025, on March 22, 2025. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of alumni from various batches, faculty members, and current students, making it a memorable evening of reconnecting, networking, and celebrating shared memories.
In her welcome address, the Officiating Head of the Department, Prof. (Dr.) Rahela Farooqi, highlighted the department's achievements and the vital role of alumni in strengthening the institution’s legacy. In an inspiring message, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Prof. (Dr.) Amirul Hasan Ansari, appreciated the department's consistent efforts in fostering strong alumni connections. The Dean expressed pride in seeing DMS alumni excel in diverse industries globally and encouraged them to continue contributing to the university's growing reputation.
The event saw engaging participation from Alumni working in top companies such as EY, Deloitte, KPMG, American Express, PWC, and Government Organizations. They shared their experiences and insights, motivating the current batch to aim high and uphold the department's reputation for excellence.
In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the event was graced with a special Iftar and Dinner gathering. This allowed alumni, faculty, and students to break their fast together, providing everyone with an opportunity to further bond over food and conversations reflecting the values of unity and togetherness that JMI stands for.
RUBAROO’25 concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Taufeeque Ahmad Siddiqui (Alumni Cell Coordinator) and a group photograph capturing the spirit of unity and pride. The event successfully reinforced the bond between the department and its alumni, setting the tone for greater collaboration in the future.
