Aurangabad - The Department of Education, Sachchidanand Sinha College, Aurangabad, Bihar, will organize a two-day national seminar on the theme “Reimagining Teacher Identity: Autonomy, Empowerment, and Accountability in the NEP-2020 Framework” on January 28–29, 2026. The seminar will be conducted in hybrid mode, allowing both offline and online participation.
The event is being organized under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and aims to bring together academicians, educationists and researchers to deliberate on the evolving role of teachers in the context of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Prof. S.P. Shahi, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, will serve as the Chief Patron of the seminar. Prof. Sushil Kumar Singh, Director, Department of Education, Magadh University, will be the Chief Guest. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Gyandeo Mani Tripathi, former Dean of Education, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna.
Several eminent educationists from leading universities , including Banaras Hindu University, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Vinoba Bhave University and other institutions will participate as distinguished speakers.
The seminar will be held at the Sachidanand Sinha College campus in Aurangabad, Bihar, starting from 10:00 AM on both days. The event is expected to provide an important academic platform to discuss policy implementation, teacher empowerment, professional accountability and reforms in teacher education under NEP 2020.
