The Delhi Government has launched the “School Web App,” an advanced digital platform aimed at transforming education and administration in MCD schools. The initiative focuses on transparency, accessibility, and smart learning for students, teachers, and parents.

New Delhi, November 7, 2025: The Government of Delhi today launched the “School Web App,” an innovative digital platform designed to modernize education and streamline administrative processes in MCD government schools. The initiative was officially unveiled by Delhi Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood, marking a significant step towards achieving the goals of Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047.

Speaking at the event, Shri Sood said, “Under the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this step will prove to be a major milestone towards Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047. This app will simplify time management and the learning process for students while reducing the administrative workload of teachers, making education more effective.”

The app brings together multiple academic and administrative features under a single digital roof, including timetables, homework, notes, attendance records, and results. With these features, parents can easily monitor their child’s academic progress and stay actively connected with schools, thereby strengthening the communication between teachers and families.

Senior officials from the Directorate of Education, school principals, management members, and students were present during the unveiling ceremony. Highlighting the vision behind the project, Shri Sood said, “This digital platform will promote a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among students. Now, time will not be wasted in searching for information; instead, information will reach the students directly. This is the true essence of digital empowerment.”

He further added that the initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on skill-based learning and integrating sports activities under the Fit India initiative. “This app represents a model of modern India’s education system, where tradition and technology move forward together,” he noted.

Concluding the event, Shri Sood expressed gratitude to all developers, teachers, and administrative collaborators for their contribution, stating that “When determination is strong, the results are equally powerful. This app will prove to be a milestone towards a brighter future for the children of Delhi.”
