Vishakapatnam - Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) has issued an official notification (Advt. No. DSNLU/TS-01/2026) for filling up multiple teaching and academic posts in law. The recruitment drive includes positions for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Teaching Associates, and Research Assistants.

According to the notification, appointments will be made as per UGC 2016 Scales of Pay and A.P. State 2022 Scales of Pay, following the applicable UGC, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and DSNLU service regulations. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of Andhra Pradesh rules (SC/ST/BC – 5 years; Persons with Disabilities – 10 years).

Vacancy Details & Pay Scale:

Professor of Law: Pay scale ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 (UGC 2016)

Associate Professor of Law: Pay scale ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 (UGC 2016)

Assistant Professor of Law: Pay scale ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (UGC 2016)

Teaching Associates: Pay scale ₹54,060 – ₹1,40,540 (A.P. State 2022)

Research Assistants: Pay scale ₹37,640 – ₹1,15,500 (A.P. State 2022)

Reservation norms, including posts earmarked for women candidates, SC, BC, and persons with disabilities, will be followed as per Government of Andhra Pradesh rules.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the prescribed UGC qualifications, including relevant Master’s degrees, Ph.D. requirements, NET/SET/SLET where applicable, and minimum teaching or research experience as specified for each post.
