CUH Vice Chancellor honored with Youth Red Cross Shield

:- In this General Meeting organized at Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh, people who have done remarkable work in the field of social welfare were honored with the Haryana State Award

 

Haryana: The 34th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana was organized under the chairmanship of the Governor of Haryana, Mr. Bandaru Dattotraya. In this General Meeting organized at Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh, people who have done remarkable work in the field of social welfare were honored with the Haryana State Award. The Vice Chancellor of Haryana Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar was awarded the Youth Red Cross Shield Award by the Governor for his commendable work in human welfare activities in the University. 

Let us inform here that this honor has been given to the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana for the remarkable efforts made at the University level in blood donation, first aid, work done during the Covid pandemic, environmental protection campaign, cleanliness campaign, and organ donation campaign.

Dedicating the Haryana State Award to the volunteers of Youth Red Cross, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the University is able to do the work related to social concerns with success only due to the hard work and dedication of the volunteers. The volunteers of the University have brought laurels to the name of the University with constant efforts. In the same sequence, Dr. Dinesh Chahal, the Coordinator of the Youth Red Cross unit of the University, was also honored with the Youth Red Cross Award for the third consecutive time.
