Mahendergarh, 5 May 2023: The Central University of Haryana is organising a one day workshop on “NEP 2020 implementation and national curriculum framework: NCrF, IKS and Mulay Pravah” on 12th May 2023 to brainstorm the vital issues relating to NEP 2020.

Sri Atul Kothari, National Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Uththan Nyas shall be the chief guest of the workshop and it will be presided over by Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that in the workshop educationists will discuss various aspects related to National Curriculum Framework, National Credit Framework, Indian Knowledge System, Value Education, National Higher Education Qualifications Framework and similar other key aspects of National Education Policy.

The workshop shall provide a platform to the academic leaders of higher education institutions to deliberate upon the roadmap for phased implementations of NEP 2020 with special focus on integration of general education and vocational education, a uniform National Credit Framework for all levels of education (school education, higher education ,vocational education, technical education etc), integration of Indian knowledge systems in curricula, Multiple Entry and Multiple Exit Options, multidisciplinary education, skill based and job oriented higher education, breaking the silos between curricular and co/extracurricular activities, and developing the sense of pride among the youth for the rich heritage of India.

The vice chancellors of central, state and private universities of Haryana and National Capital Region (NCR) shall form the panel of discussants.
