CUH student won silver medal in Karate Competition

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar congratulated Shubham for his achievement and also appreciated the contribution of the departmental teachers, students of the department and Shubham's coach Lokesh in his success.

Haryana :- Shubham Sharma, a second year M.Sc. student studying in the Department of Yoga, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, won the Silver Medal as a result of his remarkable performance in the 6th ISKF National Karate Cup 2023 competition organized by the Indian Shotokan Karate-Do Federation at Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar congratulated Shubham for his achievement and also appreciated the contribution of the departmental teachers, students of the department and Shubham's coach Lokesh in his success.

Dr. Ajay Pal, Teacher in-charge said that this performance of Shubham is very commendable and inspiring. He said that it is a matter of pride for the department that both Shubham and his coach Lokesh are our students. He said that the Yoga Department, along with studies and teaching, is continuously bringing glory to the University through various kinds of efforts. Dr. Naveen Kumar, Assistant Professor of Yoga Department, was also present and in the context of Shubham's success, he said that such achievements are possible only as a result of the continuous support given to the students by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
