Mahendergarh : Ph.D. scholar Asha of the Department of Chemistry at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the prestigious Indo-Australian conference & Workshop on 'Biomimicry: Nature’s Perfect Innovation System to Design Sustainable Future' organized by JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi.
Another Ph.D. scholar SumitSahil Malhotra of the Department of Chemistry at the Central University of Haryana, won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the International Conference on “Main-Group Molecules to Materials-4” organized by IIT Bombay, Mumbai.
This achievement was appreciated by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor who congratulated them for bringing laurel to CUH. He also expressed pride in the accomplishment, praising their hardwork. Their achievements are a reflection of the vibrant research environment at the Central University of Haryana, which continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Chemical Sciences.
Asha’s research output showcased in poster presentation highlighted the DFT and TDDFT based photophysical investigations of triphenylamine pyrazine dyes with modified pi-spacers groups for the third generation DSSCs. Whereas, SumitSahil Malhotra, represented his research work in Poster presentation exploring Copper redox mediators for photovoltaic performance in DSSCs Asha and Sumit have performed these studies under the supervision of Dr.Azaj Ansari.
